Fedora is a hat that made out of felt material, usually, wool or fur felt. This hat style has a wide brim, a crown that is indented and pitched, and trimmed with ribbon.
It can be made in any color but common colors are black, gray, dark brown and tan. This hat style has its story as a female hat. In 1982 French author Victorien Sardou presented a play "Fedora" and the main actress wore a center-creased, soft brimmed hat. The hat was soon a popular fashion for women, especially for women’s rights activists. Hat has been named after that play.
